National Occupational Classification (NOC)

The National Occupational Classification (NOC) is a nationally accepted resource used to compile, analyze and communicate information about occupations in Canada. It organizes all possible job titles into 520 occupational unit groups. The NOC is used by governments, employment service providers, and the public to understand the jobs found throughout Canada’s labour market.
